The project goal is to use a simple linear advection model to understand various aspects of ensemble data assimilation. The focus for the beginning is the EnKF with and without localization, ensemble sensitivity, observation impact estimation.

Collection of scripts to calculate climatologies of all-sky and clear-sky radiative heating, and hence atmospheric cloud-radiaitve heating, from CloudSat/Calipso. Data from 2B-FLXHR-LIDAR is used.
